A traffic stop on Tuesday evening resulted in the arrest of a Crossville man. At around 9 PM, an officer with the Carmi Police Department initiated the stop on Main Street. The driver, 41 year old April Miller of Crossville was cited for Operation of Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration due to Mandatory Insurance. During the stop the officer found the passenger 38 year old Damion Miller to be in possession of cannabis. Damion was arrested and charged with Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Passenger. He was booked in the White County Jail where bond was set at $250 plus a $20 booking fee. Damion paid bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in White County Court for a first appearance on April 25th at 9 AM.
