Two Carmi residents are being held in the White County Jail pending the setting of bond after they were arrested on Saturday evening. Just before midnight 24 year old Alexis Bowles was taken into custody following a fight in front of the White County Sheriff’s Department. She is being charged with Disorderly Conduct, Aggravated Battery of a Police Officer and Domestic Battery. 64 year old Kevin Brown of 4th Street was also arrested during the incident. Brown is being charged with Aggravated Battery.
