The IHSA Boys basketball sectional tournaments will begin tonight, with a couple area schools in action either tonight or tomorrow.
In the 1A Gallatin County Sectional, it is the host Hawks taking on Webber tonight at 7 PM. Then tomorrow night it will be Wayne City going up against Meridian. The winner of those two games will face off in the sectional championship on Friday night at Gallatin County high school.
In the 2A Newton Sectional, Lawrenceville will take on Greenville tonight at 7, and then Teutopolis will face Alton-Marquette tomorrow night.
In the 2A Pinckneyville Sectional, the host Panthers will battle Massac County tonight at 7. Carterville will square off against Breese Central tomorrow night.
