Spaulding Arrested on Third Traffic Violation in Last Year

Authorities are doing their best to send a strong message dissuading major traffic violations.  A young White County man, 20 year old Tyler Spaulding with addresses listed both in Enfield and Summit Street in north Carmi, was arrested early Monday morning at Huck’s on Oak.  Carmi Police say it was just before 2:30am when they pulled Spaulding over and eventually arrested him for Operation of a Motor Vehicle with No Valid Driver’s License.  Additionally, Spaulding was cited for Operation of an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  It was exactly one year ago that Spaulding was found to be driving without a seat belt or a license.  For those charges, he was fined and given 6 months of supervision.  Additionally, charges of No Valid Registration and Improper Use of Registration/Title were dismissed as per a plea deal.  Then in May, Spaulding was picked up for Driving without a License and speeding.  He was given a year of supervision at that time and the speeding ticket was dismissed.  Spaulding bonded out to $250 cash just after 4am and is currently free.  He’ll be due in court once again on April 11th at 9am before Judge T Scott Webb.
