The White County Board will meet for their first monthly meeting of the year on January 10th at 7pm. They have a full agenda on tap for the night with several new items of business.
They will consider the approval of the Illinois Association of County Board for year 2023 of $675, the approval of Teresa Knasel as Board Secretary, an appointment to the IllinoiSouth Tourism Board, as well as the approval of the Weight Limit Resolution. They will also be considering the White County MFT Maintenance Resolution, the approval of an interagency agreement between the White County Sheriff’s Department and the Ambulance Department, the approval of new committees and board members, and an amendment on the Health Care Plan to change the inpatient hospital admission. They’ll also have discussion and approval on siding for the former Carmi Times Building as well as a resolution to pay Johannes Construction Inc. for the 1st part of the renovation of the former Carmi Times Building.
Following the meeting there will be an Executive Session for personnel and/or litigation as well as other business. They will also give reports from the County Clerk, County Treasurer, Circuit Clerk, Ambulance, State’s Attorney, Sheriff, Supervisor of Assessments, Highway, EMA, TB Officer, Coroner, and 911. The White County Board will meet again on February 14th at 7pm.
