On August 26th, Deputy Nick Capeheart went to 600 Eighth Street in Carmi to serve an arrest warrant on 53 year old, Beverly J Newman. Capeheart arrived at the residence and informed Newman that there was a warrant for her arrest for Criminal Damage to Property. Newman was taken into custody and booked in the White County Jail where bond was set at $250. Following a court appearance Monday morning, Newman paid bond and was released. A court date for Newman has been set for October 11th.
A little while later, Deputy Capeheart, along with Sergeant Spencer went to 104 Elliot Street in Crossville in an attempt to serve an arrest warrant on 39 year old Shaina Ward. A male exiting the residence informed Ward that the Capeheart and Spencer wanted to speak with her. Ward then came out of the residence and was informed that there was a warrant out for her arrest for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis (100-500 Grams) Ward was taken into and booked in the White County Jail where bond was set at $1500. She paid bond and was released. Ward is scheduled to appear in court on October 11th at 9 AM.
On August 27th, Deputy Matt Wicker was dispatched to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Department for a walk in turning themselves in. Wicker spoke with 19 year old Peyton Doneghue who was aware that he had a warrant out for his arrest for Battery. Doneghue was booked in the White County Jail and bond was set at $250 plus fees. He was released following the posting of bond. A court date for Doneghue has been set for October 11th at 9:00 AM.
The following morning at around 10:30 AM, Deputy Nick Capeheart went to 220 Sheridan Street in Maunie to try and make contact with 48 Adam Schexnayder, who was wanted on a White County warrant for Driving While License Suspended. Capeheart arrived at the residence and made contact with Schexnayder and advised him of the warrant. Schexnayder was taken into custody and booked in the White County Jail. He appeared in court Monday morning on the charge. Court records have not been updated at this time.
While in Maunie, Capeheart observed the vehicle of a subject that he knew to be wanted on a White County warrant at 124 North Street. The deputy made contact with 42 year old Tracy Gum who was wanted for theft. Gum was taken into custody and booked in the White County Jail. Gum appeared in court on Monday and will return for a review on November 28th.
And at around noon, Capeheart went to 219 North 4th Street in Grayville in reference to a wanted subject. Capheart made contact with 38 year old Jennifer Gidcumb who was wanted on a White County warrant for Theft by Deception. Gidcumb was taken into custody and transferred to the White County Jail where a $500 cash bond was set. Gidcumb paid the bond plus fees and was released. She is scheduled to appear in court on October 11th at 9:00 AM
