Several motions were passed regarding new hires after the Carmi-White County School Board Closed Session, with all motions presented passing unanimously.
The following motions were passed unanimously by the board:
- A motion to employ Kylee Irvine as a Special Education Classroom Aide at Brownsville Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Angela Vaughan
- A motion to employ Leanna Little as the Head Cook at Lincoln Attendance Center for the school year pending certification to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Tina Burnett
- A motion to employ Tammy Ireland as a Cook at Washington Attendance Center for the school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Irma O’Dell
- A motion to employ Tracy Bartley as a Cook at Washington Attendance Center for the school year
- A motion to employ Devin Rankin as the Junior High School Assistant Baseball Coach for the school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Josh Girten
- A motion to employ Kaylea Chappelle as the Junior High School Assistant Softball Coach for the school year to fill the vacancy created by the reassignment of Kelsey Rankin
- A motion to employ Cindy Colman and Cheyenne Thompson as Junior High School Volunteer Assistant Softball Coaches for the school year
- A motion to employ Tyler Cushman as Junior High School Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach for the school year
- A motion to employ Derek York as a Junior/Senior High School Building Custodian for the school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jeremiah Downen
- A motion to employ Sarah Clark as a Cook at the Junior/Senior High School for the school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Samantha Bugera
- A motion to appoint Nathan Whetstone to fill the current vacated Carmi-White County C.U.S.D. #5 board member position.
