A Springerton man is being held in the White County Jail on charges of Aggravated Domestic Battery and Assault. 53 year old Brian Johnson was arrested Tuesday morning after an altercation with 52 year old Tawana Palmiter. Palmiter stated that after a verbal argument began between she and Johnson, a physical altercation took place. After reporting the incident to the White County Sheriff’s Department, Reporting Officer George Spencer went to the residence to locate Johnson. Reporting Officer Spencer found Johnson and put him under arrest, transporting him to the White County Jail. Johnson is currently being held at the White County Jail on $10,000 bond.
