The next monthly meeting of the White County Board will be Monday, at 7 PM at the White County Courthouse.
There’s quite a hefty amount of things on the agenda for the board. There will be the drawing of terms for the County Board, discussion of the 2021 audit for White County by Rice Sullivan Accounting, as well as the consideration of the approval of the Illinois FOP Labor Council Contract. They will also consider a resolution to declare excess equipment, consider seeking bids on a new truck for the White County Highway Department, and consider the approval of a resolution from the White County Farm Bureau in support of agriculture in White County. Furthermore they will consider a resolution for the payment to Banterra Bank for the payoff of the Coroner’s vehicle out of the ARPA funds. They’ll consider a resolution for the payment to Weber Construction for the demolition to the inside of the former Carmi Times Building out of the ARPA funds, a resolution for the payment to Novacom for computers for the squad cars out of the ARPA fund, as well as a discussion with Brandon Edwards about the White County Landfill and the consideration of estimates on a generator for the Courthouse.
There will be reports from the County Clerk, County Treasurer, Circuit Clerk, Ambulance Director, State’s Attorney, Sheriff, Supervisor of Assessments, Highway Department, EMA, TB Officer, Coroner and 911. Also comments from visitors will be heard, as well as communications to the board.
There will be an Executive Session for Personnel and/or Litigation.
The next meeting of the White County Board will be on July 12th at 7 PM.
