Another call into the Sheriff’s Department was made on Saturday afternoon, April 30th from James Majors, 57, of Springboro Ohio, asking for a deputy to check on a building on some property he owned at County Road 500 East in Norris City.
He said that a while back someone had stolen the wheels off of his 1977 Pontiac Trans Am, but someone recently put a set of rims and tires back on the vehicle, and the front end had been put on jack stands. In fear of someone planning on stealing the vehicle, Majors returned to the property to tow the vehicle back to his residence in Springboro, Ohio.
He then called back later in the day and said that someone had stolen the catalytic converters off the vehicle.
