King Named Carmi White County High School Principal

Following the Carmi White County school board meeting Monday night a closed session was held.

In that closed session several people were employed for various positions highlighted by Bart King being employed as the Carmi White County High School Principal for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the employment of Jarrod Newell as District Superintendent. Lacey Moore will be employed as the Jefferson Attendance Center Principal for the 2022-2023 school year, Grace Sinclair will be employed as the Band/Choir Teacher for 5th-12th grades for the 2022-2023 school year, pending proper certification, Christina Newman will be a Special Education Classroom Aide at Brownsville Attendance Center for the 2021-2022 school year, Jamie Burzynski will be employed as a Speech Language Pathologist at Lincoln Attendance Center for the 2021-22 school year, April Benham was reassigned from a Fifth Grade Teacher to a RtI Interventionist for Grades 4 and 5 at the Washington Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year, Rachel McGarrh will be employed as a High School Science Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year contingent on obtaining proper licensing and short-term approval, and Jonathan Goemaat will be reassigned as the Director of Maintenance for the 2022-23 school year.
