A Carmi man called 911 on Wednesday, but ended up going to jail himself. Just before 3pm, Greg Pinkard called dispatch about a company attempting to repossess his vehicle. When Carmi officers arrived at the Hillsdale Drive address, they found that Pinkard was wanted on a Saline County warrant for forgery, and a Warrick County, Indiana warrant for failure to appear on a charge of counterfeiting/forgery/check deception/theft. Pinkard was transported to the White County Jail and is being held on a $1000 bond for the Saline County warrant and a $500 bond on the Indiana warrant.
