Law enforcement and first responders are on the scene of a serious multi-vehicle traffic crash on Illinois Route 1, north of the Norris City reservoir. Witnesses say it appears 3 vehicles are involved and we have preliminary photos of the accident from the line of vehicles that are currently backed up on the roadway. Those witnesses say that they’ve been asked to move back while Air Evac lands on the roadway to tend to those involved in the accident. We’ll have much more on the situation as it unfolds.
