Moss Arrested For Domestic Battery

A Norris City man is in the White County Jail following a Domestic Dispute. At 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, White County 911 received a call that 38 year old Curtis Moss and 42 year old David Jolley were fighting in Norris City. Sheriff Randy Graves and Sgt Craig Poole arrived on scene and observed David Jolley with a busted lip due to the fight but declined to sign a complaint.  The officers then spoke with Roger Moss of 106 E Cherry Street, who is Curtis’s father and witness Christopher Jolley. Roger stated that Curtis wanted to move his girlfriend into the residence, but he would not allow it. Curtis then became angry and poured hot grease on Roger and then kicked Roger in the head a couple of times causing bruising to his father’s face. David and Curtis then begin to fight when David tried to help Roger from being further injured.  Curtis then fled the scene. Roger signed a complaint for Domestic Battery and statements were written by both Roger and Chris.  A few minutes later, Curtis was located and advised that his father had signed a complaint against him. Curtis told Graves that he wouldn’t go to jail without a fight. Norris City Officer Dustin Dale arrived on the scene after a call for backup was made. Curtis finally submitted to the arrest without further incident. Officer Dale transported Curtis to the White County Jail.

No bond was set and no court date has been set at this time.
