The White County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Carmi woman on a warrant, and the individual that arrived to bond her out was arrested as well once his information was ran through dispatch.
On Monday, November 20th, Deputies with the WCSD went to729 ½ Shipley Street to serve a body attachment warrant on 42 year old Miranda K Travelstead. The Deputies announced their presence and knocked on the door asking for Travelstead. The door of the trailer opened and Chad Carrow, 44 of 729 Shipley Street, spoke with the Officer about the amount of bond needed to have Travelstead released once taken into custody. Once Carrow spoke with Travelstead, she stepped outside and placed under arrest and transported to the White County Jail.
Bond for Travelstead was set at $100.
Following her being taken into custody, Carrow walked in to the lobby of the Sheriff’s Department wanting to bond out Travelstead. A LEADS check revealed that Carrow was wanted on a Wabash County warrant. Carrow was then placed under arrest and transferred to Wabash County.
Travelstead paid her bond and was released.
