The Carmi Police Department made a DUI arrest over the weekend. On Saturday, November 6th, Officers performed a traffic stop on Oak Street, that resulted in an arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. 24 year old Cecilia I Lara of 325 Conger Avenue in Carmi, is being charged with DUI of Alcohol, Operation of an Uninsured Vehicle and Improper Parking on Roadway.
Lara was taken to the White County Jail. Her bond was set at $100. She posted bond and was released.
