A Carmi woman was taken into custody on multiple charges late last week. On Friday, November 5th, at around 9:45 AM, Officers arrested 51 year old Rada M Turner of 1349 Sycamore Street in Carmi, on a White County warrant for a Failure to Appear. Turner was also charged with Possession of a Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance after a baggy was found in her pocket. The substance in the baggy tested positive for MDPV (synthetic Cathinones) also known as Bath Salts.
Bond on the Warrant was set at $300. Bond on the Possession of a Controlled Substance will have to be set by a Judge.
Turner is currently being held at the White County Jail.
