A potentially brief Carmi City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 21st at 5:30 pm at the City Council Chambers on 225 East Main Street. Along with approving the august 2021 financial reports and approving and authorizing the September 2021 vendor invoices for the City and Light and Water, the council will hear from Police Chief Jason Carter regarding the Police Department budget.
There will also be the usual reports and/or updates from Mayor Jeff Pollard, reports from standing committees and business or comments from visitors. A closed session will be held to discuss personnel and private issues, with possible action to follow.
Carmi City Council meets the second and forth Tuesday’s of the month.
