Police Weekend Reports
Carmi Police reported two arrests and a bicycle theft over the weekend.
According to local police reports released by Carmi Chief of Police Jason Carter, a New Haven resident was arrested Thursday afternoon around 5:30.
Jade N. Grove, 22 of 275 Marshall Street, New Haven was arrested after she admitted to having stolen items from her employer; Carmi Wal-mart on multiple occasions.
Friday night, about 8:30, a traffic stop for one headlight resulted in the arrest of 32 year old Deanna L. holtzclaw of 1267 County Road 1500 North, Carmi. Holtzclaw was charged with driving on a suspended license. She posted $250 bond on the scene and was released from custody.
Saturday morning, just after 8:15, Ryan D. Stocke , of 309 Fackney Street, Carmi, reported the theft of a black and white Genesis brand bicycle with a child seat attached. That incident remains under investigation.
