Sergeant Craig Poole of the Carmi PD pulled up on and ended up snapping a picture for us of a burning Ford Focus in case you ever wondered what that looked like Thursday. 28 year old Jonathon Caine of 2nd Street in Carmi was driving on Epworth Road yesterday morning when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway striking a ditch embankment and overturning. Sergeant Poole says Caine was able to get out of the vehicle prior to it catching fire and that he’s otherwise unharmed.
