HHS Reveals Carmi CARES Act Recipients Through 4th Quarter of 2020

Through the end of 2020, businesses in Carmi received just under a quarter of a million dollars in health related relief from the CARES Act issued by the Department of Health and Human Services.  New information shows that businesses in Illinois received about $5.2 billion.  The average loan size in Carmi was $26,801, but that’s because it was top heavy.  Dr. Saqib’s office received the largest amount at $145,516 in total.  Wabash Christian Village was next at $33,830.  White County also received more than $30,000.  Taylor Eye Care was approved for $20,080.  Gholson Chiropractic received just under $6,700 while Oak Street Chiropractic received $2,866.  Plum Street Pharmacy was allocated $1,853 and Dr. Lars Gentry from Carmi Eye Care strangely received exactly $4.
