Folks heading to enjoy the outdoors at Burrell’s Woods need to be aware of some road work scheduled to take place next week. The City of Carmi says the roadway entering Burrell’s Woods from the entrance to the Gregory Dillman Memorial Pond will be restricted to one lane of traffic with a flagger present on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25th and 26th. Tuesday, roadwork is expected from 8am – 4pm and crews expect to hopefully finish up by noon on Wednesday.
