A Carmi man will spend the next 3 years behind bars following his conviction in White County Court. States Attorney Denton Aud says 27 year old Travis Colton Kamuela Gill was sentenced Monday morning for a class 4 felony of Domestic Battery. Following his incarceration, Gill will also have 4 years of parole. Gill was arrested back on April 16th and charged with Domestic Battery. Charges of Aggravated Domestic Battery for Attempting to Strangle the victim and Violation of an Order of Protection were dismissed as per the plea agreement according to online court records.
