The White County Senior Citizens Center will host a catfish or fried shrimp dinner fundraiser coming up a week from this Wednesday, May 12th from 4pm – 7pm. Officials say the dinner will include your choice of 2 pieces of catfish or a 12 piece fried shrimp dinner. You’ll also get coleslaw, baked beans, hushpuppies and potato salad. No price was included in the flyer, but you can call the center for additional details. 618-382-3111.
Coming up this week, the Senior Center will be hosting another produce giveaway. It’s scheduled for noon this Wednesday. You’re asked to follow the route which will actually begin over on Plum Street, several blocks from the center.
