Egyptian Health Department Reports 3 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Egyptian Health Department was notified Tuesday of 3 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (2)
    • 1 male in his 40’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s

 

  • White County (1)
    • 1 female in her 20’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,613 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths, 2,530 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,761 lab-confirmed positives, including 27 deaths, 1,706 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 497 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 491 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 3,193 new confirmed cases and 17 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,285,398 confirmed cases and 21,540 deaths in Illinois.
