The Egyptian Health Department was notified Monday of 6 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (6)
- 1 female in her 20’s
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 1 female in her 40’s
- 2 males in their 50’s
- 1 male in his 70’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,591 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths, 2,501 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,753 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,698 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 496 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 487 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,102 new confirmed cases and 11 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,258,736 confirmed cases and 21,384 deaths in Illinois.
