The Egyptian Health Department was notified Monday of 9 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (3)
- 1 male under the age of 10
- 2 males in their 30’s
- Gallatin County (1)
- 1 female in her 30’s
- White County (5)
- 1 female in her 20’s
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 1 male in his 50’s
- 1 female in her 60’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,570 lab confirmed positives, including 50 deaths, 2,468 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,747 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,684 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 496 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 481 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,761 new confirmed cases and 5 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,239,589 confirmed cases and 21,256 deaths in Illinois.
