Grayville City Council to hold Several Meetings and Public Hearing Monday

The City of Grayville will hold a special City Council Meeting of the Collective Bargaining Committee on Monday, March 22nd at 1:30 PM.

An executive session will be held on collective negotiation matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees.

The City of Grayville will hold their next council meeting on Monday, March 22nd at City Hall with a Park Committee Meeting at 6 p.m., then a Public Hearing on a Zoning Map Change immediately followed by the City Council Meeting at 7.

An executive session will be held to discuss collective negotiation matters between the public body and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees, and the setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body, with action to follow on both items.

Old business will include Ordinance No. 910 2nd reading of the liquor ordinance amendment, electric upgrade for the campground, 1st reading of Ordinance No. 911 Zoning Map Amendment, municipal ordinance violations and issuance of fines, the swimming pool, liquor license and gaming license request, an amendment to the golf cart ordinance, generator service contract and approve mowing bids.

New business will discuss the 2022 Preliminary Budget Hearing date of April 15th, the campground, utility disconnections, water leak policy, Clearwave contract, approve a change order for Wiggs Excavating for the Water Project, website overhaul, Grayville Moose Lodge request for Park use April 3rd for their Easter Egg Hunt and the Eternal Flame.

There will be the usual reports from the Treasurer, Police Chief/Utility Manager, City Attorney, Commissioners and the Mayor.

A recognition of visitors:  David Cox.

And there will be a review of temporary executive powers and disaster declaration.
