COVID-19 Vaccination Opportunities

In an effort to reach individuals in the local communities where they reside, the Hamilton County Health Department will be holding three remote COVID vaccination clinics for all individuals in Phases 1a & 1b and Phase 1b Part 2 on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the following locations:

 

  • 9:00 am – 11:00 pm at the McLeansboro Fire Department on 108 S. Marshall

 

  • 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Dahlgren Fire Department on 109 Fourth Street

 

  • 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm at the Broughton Community Center on 407 S. 2nd Street

 

Please note you DO NOT have to be 65 years of age, as long as you qualify under one of the current phases.

 

Vaccinations will be administered first come, first serve. Please bring a work ID and/or driver’s license with you to verify eligibility and insurance cards if applicable.

 

As the clinics will be held indoors, they ask that everyone please come wearing a face mask and maintain social distancing.

Egyptian Health Department is hosting a vaccination clinic in Eldorado for 200+ appointments for the Moderna vaccine on Friday, March 12. This clinic is available to individuals who live or work in Saline, Gallatin and White counties and are eligible under Phase 1A , 1B or 1B+(health conditions).

Ferrell Hospital: Ferrell Hospital is hosting a community vaccine clinic with the Army National Guard on Monday, March 15, White County Fairgrounds Floral Hall, 201 Fairground Road in Carmi. Appointments are required, and can be made by calling (618)297-9677.

The Illinois National Guard and Jackson County Health Department are hosting Regional COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics weekly . All Phase 1A, 1B and 1B+ Illinois residents are eligible make appointments. There is an increased chance of receiving an appointment versus waiting for a local clinic.

*Phase 1B+ — Persons aged 16 to 64 years with medical conditions that increase the risk for severe COVID-19. Conditions include Obesity, Diabetes, Pulmonary Diseases, Smoking, Heart Conditions, Chronic Kidney Disease, Cancer, Immunocompromised State from a Solid Organ Transplant, Sickle Cell Disease, Pregnancy, and Persons with Disability (Not otherwise covered in previous categories.)
