The Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Tuesday, of 10 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (6)
- 1 female in her 20’s
- 2 males in their 40’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 2 males in their 50’s
- Gallatin County (1)
- 1 male in his 90’s
- White County (3)
- 2 females in their 40’s
- 1 male in his 50’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,435 lab confirmed positives, including 46 deaths, 2,282 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,685 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,574 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 476 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 452 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,665 new confirmed cases and 27 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,177,320 confirmed cases and 20,330 deaths in Illinois.
