Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Monday, of 7 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (1)
- 1 male in his 50’s
- Gallatin County (3)
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 1 male in his 50’s
- White County (3)
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 1 male in his 50’s
- 1 female in her 70’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,402 lab confirmed positives, including 44 deaths, 1,360 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,672 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 852 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 471 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 4 deaths, 275 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,420 new confirmed cases and 41 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,163,574 confirmed cases and 20,002 deaths in Illinois.
