Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Tuesday, of 20 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (10)
- 1 female under the age of 10
- 1 male under the age of 10
- 1 male in his teens
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 1 female in her 40’s
- 1 male in his 40’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 1 male in his 60’s
- 1 male in his 70’s
- 1 female; age demographics unknown-case status in progress.
- White County (10)
- 1 female under the age of 10
- 3 females in their 20’s
- 2 males in their 20’s
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 1 male in his 40’s
- 1 female in her 70’s
- 1 male in his 70’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,382 lab confirmed positives, including 43 deaths, 1,241 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,656 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 740 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 460 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 259 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,082 new confirmed cases and 20 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,150,170 confirmed cases and 19,668 deaths in Illinois.
