Egyptian Health Department Reported 15 New COVID-19 Cases Monday

Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Monday, of 15 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (10)
    • 1 female in her teens
    • 2 males in their teens
    • 1 female in her 20’s
    • 1 female in her 30’s
    • 2 males in their 30’s
    • 2 males in their 40’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s

 

  • Gallatin County (2)
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s

 

  • White County (3)
    • 1 female in her 20’s
    • 1 male in his 30’s
    • 1 male in his 60’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,372 lab confirmed positives, including 43 deaths, 1,241 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,646 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 740 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 460 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 259 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,747 new confirmed cases and 35 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,148,088 confirmed cases and 19,668 deaths in Illinois.
