Dustin L. Pierce, 45, of Enfield was sentenced in White County Court Tuesday to 2 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, followed by 1 year of Mandatory Supervised Release, on a charge of Driving While License Revoked), a class 4 felony.
Pierce was arrested on this charge in June of 2020 by Enfield Police Officer Mark Worlds. He was represented by Carmi attorney Jonathan Turpin. Judge T. Scott Webb was the presiding judge.
Serena J. Dunn, 38, of Carmi was sentenced in White County Court Wednesday to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, followed by 1 year of Mandatory Supervised Release, on a charge of Escape, a class 3 felony.
Dunn was arrested on January 19, 2021 on a warrant for the offense of Escape after she failed to report to the White County Jail on January 1, 2021 to serve a sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a Criminal Trespass to Residence case; the sentence on the Escape charge will run consecutively to the sentence in the Criminal Trespass to Residence case. Dunn was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Carmi Police Department was the arresting agency.
