Egyptian Health Department Reports 28 New COVID-19 Cases Monday

Egyptian Health Department was notified on Monday, of 28 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (8)
    • 1 female in her teens
    • 1 male in his teens
    • 1 male in his 30’s
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s
    • 1 female in her 60’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s
    • 1 female; age demographics unknown-case status in progress.

 

  • Gallatin County (3)
    • 2 females in their teens
    • 1 female in her 50’s

 

  • White County (17)
    • 1 female in her teens
    • 2 females in their 20’s
    • 3 males in their 20’s
    • 1 female in her 30’s
    • 1 male in his 30’s
    • 2 females in their 60’s
    • 3 males in their 60’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s
    • 1 male in his 80’s
    • 1 male; age demographics unknown-case status in progress.

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,247 lab confirmed positives, including 39 deaths, 1,177 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,511 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 678 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 439 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 253 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,944 new confirmed cases and 49 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,104,763 confirmed cases and 18,798 deaths in Illinois.
