The White County Sheriff’s Office received a report Monday morning from Sam J. Frank in reference to a theft that had taken place on the Countrymark Energy Resources Poorman 22W Oil Lease located on County Road 2500 N, approximately a quarter mile east of County Road 25 E. Frank said the theft had been discovered on December 21st. A water meter, hammer union, a number of 2 inch brass connections, and a number of brass nipples and teeth had been removed from an injection well on the lease. The well has since been repaired. An incident report has been completed and filed at the White County Sheriff’s Department.
Brandi Holland, 34, of Carmi, was arrested by Carmi Police Monday night on a charge of Aggravated Battery, following a physical altercation at 701 Maple Street. She is currently being held in the White County Jail.
