Indiana State Police Arrest Two Carmi Teens Friday Night

Indiana State Police at the Evansville District conducted a saturation patrol Friday night, which resulted in the arrest of two Carmi teens.

19 year old Cobie Vogler was stopped on State Route 62 near Gun Club Road for having a defective license plate light. He displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Further investigation revealed Vogler was under the influence of meth. He was arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail for Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated.

19 year old Brett Hansman was a passenger in Vogler’s vehicle A search revealed Hansman was in possession of approximately 10 grams of meth and 22 grams of marijuana. He was arrested and taken to the Posey County Jail for Possession of Meth, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession Drug Paraphernalia.
