Illinois State Police District 19 investigated a Single Vehicle Personal Injury Traffic Crash early (this) Monday morning around 5:23 AM.
56 year old Eva Pollard of Carmi and a passenger, 19 year old Tyler Bolin of Carmi, were traveling east on Illinois Route 141 near 1600 east in White County, when Pollard’s 2016 Kia Soul struck a deer in the roadway. Both the driver and passenger were transported by ambulance to an area hospital with minor injuries.
