35 year old Floyd Dale Hargrave of McLeansboro was arrested by the White County Sheriff’s Department Thursday afternoon at the Stewart Street apartments. Hargrave was wanted on a Saline County warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and a Hamilton County warrant for Failure to Appear on a charge of Obstructing Justice. Hargrave was transported to the White County Jail where he remains held on $1,500 cash bond.
Paula J. Cox, 51, of Carmi, was arrested by Carmi Police Thursday afternoon after Officers executed a search warrant at her residence at 631 First Street. A number of illegal drug items were located. Cox was transported to the White County Jail and charged with Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She remains held in jail. Carmi Police were assisted during the search by the White County Sheriff’s Department.
