The White County Sheriff’s Department arrested 26 year old Charles Webb of McLeansboro for driving on a revoked license following a traffic stop on Thursday. Webb was seen running a stop sign on 5th Street and was placed into custody after a records check. Webb was transported to the White County Jail and later released after posting a $150 bond.
36 year old Danny Stephens of Carmi was arrested by Sheriff’s deputies Friday morning on a White County warrant for aggravated battery. The Sheriff’s Department was alerted that Stephens was seen at the Road Ranger in Grayville and was in a vehicle traveling south on Route 1. Upon stopping the vehicle north of Crossville and taking Stephens into custody, deputies found a bag containing methamphetamine in Stephens’ possession. Stephens was transported to the White County Jail and is being held without bond on the drug charge and a $2500 bond for the warrant.
Saturday evening, 34 year old Jimmy Fann of Harrisburg surrendered to the White County Sheriff’s Department to answer a warrant out of Hamilton County. Fann turned himself in just before 7:30pm. He is being held at the White County Jail on a $300 bond.
