The Hamilton County Highway Department has announced multiple temporary road closures for resurfacing. The closures are temporary and can change without notice due to weather. The closures are currently scheduled during the following locations and dates:
September 3rd-4th – Blooming Grove Rd. from IL RT 242 to IL RT 142
September 4th-8th – Walpole Road from IL RT 142 to Co. Rd. 775 East
September 8th-9th – Akin Rd./Tuckers Corner Rd. from Co. Rd. 600 East to Campbell’s Corner Rd.
Motorist should expect delays from 7:00am till 5:00pm. Any closures will be temporary but may require detours. If you have any questions please contact the Hamilton County Highway Department at 618-643-2714.
