A 44 year old Mt. Zion, IL man, Kort James Kays, was arrested Thursday morning after turning himself in to the White County Sheriff’s Office on a White County Body Attachment Warrant. Kays bonded out to $500 cash plus a $20 booking fee.
Lacy Dawn Duncan of Crossville reported to the White County Sheriff’s Office Thursday night, just before 10, that Zakkary M. Hosick of Crossville attempted to gain access through a window of her apartment. Duncan stated that Hosick has broken into her apartment before. She noticed a screen had been partially removed from the window and saw Hosick walking east on Davenport Street. Duncan also told Officers she has been receiving threatening messages from Hosick. A complaint was signed and a voluntary statement was filed with the Sheriff’s Office and will be forwarded to the State’s Attorney’s Office for charges pending.
