Illinois County Clerks to Mail Vote-By-Mail Applications by State Mandate

Due to COVID-19, The State of Illinois has mandated that all County Clerks must mail out Vote-By-Mail applications to everyone who has voted in the last three elections. White County Voters who have participated in the last three elections will automatically receive an application to Vote-By-Mail which will be mailed out by August 1st, 2020.  You will have three options to vote:

  1. You may vote at your home polling place on Election Day. (disregard the application you received in the mail)
  2. You can vote in person (Early Voting) at the White County Courthouse.
  3. You can return your application and receive your ballot at home.

In-person voting (Early Voting) will begin at the County Clerks on Thursday, September 24th, 2020, Monday through Friday 8-4.  Again, all Polling Places will be open on Election Day.

If you have any questions, please contact the County Clerk’s Office at (618) 382-7211 ext 1
