According to a report from the White County Sheriff’s Department, on Saturday May 16th at approximately 7:46 PM, Alice Duvall of Crossville reported criminal damage to her property at 703 North State Street. Duvall stated that someone had taken her mail from her mail box and scattered it across the street. She said this was the second time it had happened and noticed that her neighbor had their mail scattered a few times also. Duvall also believes there are some kids in the neighborhood that are doing this. She said she is too old to be out picking her mail off the ground.
