(Chicago, IL) — Illinois Governor JB Pritzker understands that the coronavirus will cause a budget crisis in the state. But he’s not ready to cut state spending. The governor yesterday said, if anything, state government needs to look to protect state agencies and programs. The governor says he’s hoping for a no-strings-attached federal bailout.
