Mt. Carmel, Ill.— Wabash Valley College values the health, safety and well-being of its students, faculty and staff. With the health and well-being of these groups in mind, WVC made the decision earlier this week to virtualize its classes.
Online classes will not return to the traditional face-to-face format this semester. Classes will continue to be taught in an online format for the remainder of the spring semester. Lab classes will continue to be taught face-to-face according to the schedule posted at iecc.edu/covid.
Dual-credit students who are enrolled in an on-campus class at WVC should consult the course list at iecc.edu/covid to see if the class will continue to meet face-to-face.
Faculty and staff will remain on campus to assist students with any difficulties they may have in transitioning to an online learning format. Students are encouraged to contact their professors or the Student Services department by phone or email and to visit campus as a last resort.
All on-campus events are suspended until April 10, and campus buildings will close at 6 p.m. daily. All on-campus events scheduled after April 10 are, at this time, slated to continue as planned.
