As a leader of healthcare in our region, Fairfield Memorial Hospital is taking additional measures to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
In an abundance of caution, we are establishing an alternate care site Respiratory Clinic in the tent in the parking lot of the Medical Arts Complex. This clinic will be open Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am-8pm for anyone that has the signs and symptoms of a respiratory illness. After 8pm and on the weekend, patients with these symptoms should be report to the Emergency Department. Signs and symptoms include: a temperature of 100.4°F or higher; shortness of breath/rapid breathing; new or worsening cough; or has been exposed to a person that has a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19.
We want our patients and community to rest assure that we are taking these measures to be prepared for all possibilities.
