Keensburg Man Sentenced in White County Court Monday

A 49 year old Keensburg man, Mark A. Vanvleet, was sentenced in White County Court Monday to 5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on a class 4 felony Aggravated DUI While License Revoked followed by 1 year of Mandatory Supervised Release. He was also sentenced to 5 years plus 1 year Mandatory Supervised Release on a class 4 felony Driving While License Revoked. Vanvleet had previously entered an open plea of guilty on the charges in November with the contested sentencing hearing occurring yesterday. Grayville Police Department was the arresting agency. Vanvleet was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Judge T. Scott Webb was the presiding judge that handed down the sentence at the conclusion of the hearing.
