24-year old Robert W. Pritchard of Albion, Illinois, was sentenced yesterday, March 5, 2020 to a total of 6-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a term of 2-years of Mandatory Supervised Release (formerly known as “parole”) on Count II in Edwards County Case No. 2018-CF-66 for the offense of Burglary. Mr. Pritchard was also sentenced to a total of 5-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a term of 1-year of Mandatory Supervised Release on Count III in the same case for the offense of Possession of Stolen Property. The sentences in these two cases were ordered to run concurrently. Mr. Pritchard was also ordered to pay $4,000.00 in restitution to the victim.Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger prosecuted the case on behalf of the People of the State of Illinois and conflicts public defender Jay Walden represented the defendant, Robert W. Pritchard.
