Marianne L. Bynum, 48, of Eldorado, was arrested by Carmi Police Thursday morning around 10:50 am, at the Dollar General Store for retail theft. She attempted to steal a pair of sunglasses. Bynum was also charged with illegal Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle after the company van she was driving was secured and the cannabis was located in an electric smoking device in the driver’s door storage area. She was taken to the White County Jail where she bonded out to $250 cash.
